What a last 48 hours…… the club only found out on Friday afternoon that our girls were in the final so had little chance to prepare, but thanks to the team and parents, plans were changed and off we went. 

In front a big and noisy crowd, Alty took the lead, but there was little to separate the teams with them sharing possession and chances. Pressure from central began to tell, and we forced an equaliser from an own goal. Neither team could find a winner, and the game finished 1-1

On to penalties……. Always exciting, but nerve-wracking for managers and parents
 

Again little could see rate the teams, but Central managed to gain the advantage. Up steps Grace, one kick away from victory………. She coolly places the ball hard and low to the keepers left and the crowd went wild…….. the scenes at the end
